The exhibition features 50 drawings and watercolors by Jacek Malczewski. They are related to Karol Lanckoroński's archaeological expedition to Pamphylia and Piydia (historical lands in the province of Anatolia in present-day Turkey) organized in 1884. The drawings from this expedition make up an interesting chronicle of the expedition, both artistically and cognitively. Prominent German, Austrian and Polish scholars took part in it, and Jacek Malczewski became its chronicler. The collection of drawings, last shown to the public in the last century, will see the light of day again.
Please note: admission to the exhibition Jacek Malczewski in Anatolii also with tickets to the Castle I and to the Castle.
